UBIUDR Podravka Awarded Gold Plaque Ankci Tudjman

Gold Plaque awarded Ankici Tudjman for public work, selfless care and welfare of children killed, missing and deceased veterans and for the humanitarian work of the Foundation "For the Croatian Children" was awarded the President's UBIUDR Mladen Pavkovic.

At the ceremony the Golden Hall of the Croatian Institute for History in Zagreb, attended by numerous dignitaries from the public, cultural and political life to pay their respects and expressed their appreciation and support for wife of the first Croatian president Franjo Tudjman. Mladen Pavkovic said that NGOs and other Croatian soldiers immediately adopted the initiative UBIUDR a Gold Medallion award for a woman who devoted herself to work for an independent Croatian state. The activities of these foundations "for Croatian children," said Mary Boras, recalling how the Foundation works 19 years and has paid out more than 170 million to help children of Croatian soldiers, and the overall amount of assistance for the children you care for the Foundation has more od178 million kuna. Today, the monthly assistance received about 1200 children from all counties, of which three quarters of Croatian war veterans. Commendable humanitarian work Ankica Tudjman handed the Minister of Family, Veterans and Intergenerational Solidarity, Tomislav Ivic, who said the work of the Foundation "Children Croatian" society has recognized as an outstanding contribution to the care of children killed Croatian soldiers.
