New KIA sedan segment D brings to market a new style, high performance and rich equipment, along with a fresh and bold new Kia design, sportiness and dynamism. The new Kia Optima, which replaces the model Magentis, the European markets will be sold along with two new petrol and one diesel engine, and the sale starts in early spring 2011th year. Kia Motors Corporation is on the saloon car in New York unveiled a new sedan called the Optima sedan. The sedan, which comes to Europe next spring, will represent the next generation model Kia Optima, and continues to design transformation. Kia Optima in Europe has so far sold under the name Magentis, a Korean manufacturer intends to now have a unique name for Optima in all global markets, with the exception of South Korea where the car is named K5. The new Kia Optima, a result of cooperation Kijinih design studio in Frankfurt and Irwin, California, is longer, wider and lower than its predecessor. Optima is based on a completely new platform that allows this segment of the somewhat unusual dimensions and proportions, so that this model is easier to cope with competition in the class. The new Optima will be Kia's first hybrid model, which will initially be sold only available in the market of North America, and selling mobile in early 2011th year. Exterior vehicle is characterized by a chrome arches that stretch from A to C-pillar, which makes it visually lower the vehicle and gives him an extra dose of attractiveness, and also emphasizes its extended wheelbase,

Standard equipment in the LX package includes dual exhaust pipes with chrome endings, UV-reflective glass, direction indicators integrated in the rearview mirror housings, chrome door handles and 16-inch steel wheels equipped with tires in size 205/65 R16. EX even richer package offers fog lights, heated mirrors, karoserijske body-colored inserts and 17-inch alloy wheels with 215/55 R17 tires. Best-equipped SX package brings more and HID headlights with automatic adjustment, LED taillights, a unique radiator grille, rear lip spoiler, a different side sills, red brake calipers and 18-inch aluminum wheels with tires in size 225/45 R18. Inside the new Optima is clearly focused primarily on the driver. The instrument panel is rotated by the driver which creates the feeling of driving a sports car without the loss of space and comfort. Standard equipment includes AM/FM/CD/MP3/Sat audio system with eight speakers, USB port for playing files in MP3 format and Bluetooth hands-free system, the Optima with automatic transmission comes equipped with cruise control, Kia's Active Eco system that helps fuel economy, and handles on the steering wheel to change gears designed drivers who prefer a passionate ride. Other equipment includes a button to start the engine with a contactless key, dual-zone automatic air conditioning and chrome decorative inserts. Optional equipment includes an electric panoramic roof, leather upholstery, driver's seat with memory function of seating position, front seats with heating and cooling, rear seats with heating function and a heated steering wheel. The European and North American market will be available navigation system with voice commands with a 7-inch LCD screen, which in conjunction with the audio system provides excellent amenities for even the most demanding customers. In Europe, the Kia Optima will be offered with front-wheel drive with 2.0 CVVL petrol engines and 1.7 VGT turbo diesel engine. In Russia, Eastern Europe and some other markets, the sale will be and 2.4 MPI petrol engines with 178 hp. Engines will be paired with a manual gearbox and optional šesterobrzinskim Sportmatic automatic transmission. For more detailed technical information about the new Optimization for the European market will have to wait a little longer. The new Optima plants outside Europe, even six petrol engines from the families of Theta II,
equipped with direct fuel injection technology (GDI). In accordance with the safety philosophy of Kie, new Optima is equipped with six airbags, active head restraints for driver and front passenger, optional side body reinforcements, the system controls air pressure in tires (TPMS), Isofix attachments for child seats, ABS with auxiliary braking systems (BAS), stability control (ESC), traction control (TCS) and the help system when you start the hill (HAC). Prices have not yet been published.
